Every Teenager's Dream

Ok here are the pictures from the mall. It was amazing. My favorite place in there is the Apple store. Its huge and really really modern. I eventually need a Mac to run ProTools and Logic Pro (the best recording programs on the market). Thats all my college uses. All the faculty carries around iPods and in their offices they have Macbook Pros. Its really cool. Anyway, here are the pictures. And kind of like Uncle Frank's blog, I'm going to start telling stories about all the weird people we've seen in the city. p.s. spongebob is made out of LEGOs. (and all that other stuff around him)

ok so the crazy person story: Me and Brianna made the mistake of going out late to get a fan that would fit in the window from Walgreen's. We thought it was open 24/7 (its not). On the way there this really skinny guy with huge hair and an even bigger beard started walking toward us really funny. It looked like his legs werent going to hold him for much longer. He stopped right in front of us and said "Hi" in a really weird voice..almost like stitch (from the cartoon). He then raised both his hands over his head and put them together to make some kind of face with his fingers and he just stood there. Me and Brianna walked away and were really freaked out...it was creepy.

Update

Today is the Mall of America. I'll put pictures up of what it looks like on the inside. If anyone has any good tips about living in the city I'd like to hear them. I know Uncle Gary has a bunch. Maybe Aunt Bridget but she doesnt get on here. It seems to be pretty easy here. Me and Brianna now both have jobs officially...at Erbert and Gerberts! Its a sub and sandwich place. I start on Wednesday, making 6.50 an hour. Brianna starts Friday.

Last night I went outside and there was a guy playing the guitar and singing and all these people were crowded around him. It was cool.

Another Cathedral Picture

St. Paul Cathedral

Here is my favorite building in St. Paul by far. There is also the capital building but it isnt as cool. Brianna and I went inside the cathedral and it's amazing! here are some pictures...hopefully they will come up under this.

p.s. I took them so they are right side up.

p.s.s. I dont know why I have internet....but if it doesnt go away Im cancelling my DSL subscription so I dont have to pay 40 dollars a month.

Yesterday we did a lot of walking. Like miles. Anyway, I have some new pictures I will put up. Me and Brianna are using the internet in the coffee place next to our apartment and I have a picture of that too. Our apartment is pretty much set up (and clean) now, and we have a lot to do still. We walked to the St. Paul cathedral yesterday(we dont have pictures of it yet) and it was amazing. Ive never been inside anything like it. We also took a tour of my school with the lady that worked at motown records and produced diana ross, stevie wonder, and the temptations. After seeing the recording studios I think Ill be living at the college after school starts. Well Ill be calling and/or emailing everyone after we get our internet on the 31st. Theres so much to do here. Within one mile there is :

A huge theatre (Les Miserables and Rent are currently being performed there)
An even huger library
The science center
My school
Coffee houses, sushi bars, bars, grocery stores, italian restaurants, etc.
The Cathedral
Sculptures and art galleries
Music nightclubs (my favorite)
The capital building
and more that I cant think of right now. Here are the pictures. ok hold on. the picture went up there and is sideways. oh well. turn your heads if you want to see them. psst..brianna took them...

MINNESOTA!!!

Hi everyone! Me and Brianna are officially moved into our apartment in Minnesota :)

If you want to get in touch with us, our number is 440-552-1280. We're doing dishes and stuff right now...and its really really hot. We went and visited my school but we couldnt get in because it was closed for some meeting thing. Tomorrow were going to buy our bus passes and go to the bank so we can pay my mom parking ticket and then go to Briannas school and visit any other places that sound cool. My internet comes and goes...im piggybacking off of someone elses so Im not sure how long I will have a connection. I will be in touch with all of you at some point.

Love,
Matt
